Between Split and Trogir, on one of the quietest bays in the region.
The town
Kaštel Stari is the oldest of the seven Kaštela towns and has kept its character: a core of stone houses, a waterfront promenade with pebble beaches, fishing boats rather than resorts. Living here means living in a Croatian town that still works in November, not in a holiday village.
Distances
About 800 metres to the promenade, roughly eight minutes on foot. Split airport is under ten minutes by car, the old towns of Split and Trogir under twenty each. Supermarkets, doctors, pharmacy, school and kindergarten are within walking distance.
The street
Ulica Marina Studina is a residential street with no through traffic. The plot is level and the surrounding buildings are low. To the south the view runs over the rooftops to the water.
